This DVD is a comprehensive historical film collection, showing the most famous Masters of Aikido, from the post-war period.
Footage includes the following:-

- Masters:- Morihei Ueshiba, Gozo Shioda, Koichi Tohei, Kisshomaru Ueshiba and Morihiro Saito in a segment on them from 1954, in the company of the young Shioda Masters, Saito and Tohei. Technical levels seen in this footage defy words!!!

- Demonstration by Sensei in 1962, including Sensei Tamura, Sugano, Kanai, and Terry Dobson.

- Gozo Shioda: a documentary from 1958 with the best experts of the Yoshinkan style.

- Koichi Tohei: demonstration of Ki and Randori exercises in 1962, by the Chief-Instructor of Aikikai.

- Kisshomaru Ueshiba: footage from 1962 offering a rare glance of the Aikikai Hombu Dojo at the beginning of the 60s.

- Morihiro Saito: finally a fabulous documentary filmed in 1973 on Iwama and originally screened on Japanese NHK television.
